An idyllic old log cabin in Savo on the shores of Lake Ala-Särkijärvi, 3.5 km from the center of the village of Leppävirta. The cabin is located on its own peaceful peninsula surrounded by a large yard.
Even a rainy day won't ruin your vacation at Ukko-Jussi. There's enough space for a large group to stay and everyone can find their own peace. There are 7 beds (plus 2 youth beds) in the main building and 5 in the barns. Although the cabin is old, it has completely modern equipment, including a dishwasher and a "water closet".
The cabin, with its sleeping-cabin and idyllic facilities and tableware, is well suited for birthdays, weddings, or other small family gatherings.
Leppävirta is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and lakes along the 5-way. There you can go boating, lake and rapids fishing, golf, skiing and skating, even in summer at the spa in Vesileppis. There are many attractions nearby: Orinoro Gorge, Valamo and Lintula monasteries and for shopping, in addition to Leppävirta, the cities of Varkaus, Pieksämäki and Kuopio. |
