Sightseeing's Lake Arra; 9 km long and average 600 - 700 m wide - a nice shore banks overall! Cliffs and stones, forests, fields, farms, holiday-homes and smaller cottages etc... River Kymi in the north-top of lake - big cliffs both side of this river... possible to drive by the motor boat and paddle with canoe down!

Fishing Lake Arra is fish rich - in the lake are all normal Finnish (and Karelian) fishes; pike, perch-pike(!), perch, bream, roach, burbot (in the early Spring) and many other... but no salmon! Paradise for ice hole fishermen - and women!

Berries and mushrooms A lot free forests around Kiviniemi - and bit more far really wilderness-forestry's available for wander, pick berries and mushrooms...

Possibilities for wander etc. Village-ways for pike cycle, free forestry's for wandering etc.

Swimming In the Lake Arra in front of house, of course. Swimming pools in Nastola and Vierumäki Sport Centres - and in Lahti. Water Paradise Serena Espoo (near Helsinki, about 150 km) and in Nokia (behind city of Tampere)

Paddling Possible to paddle on the Lake Arra - and trough Kymi-river down... really adventure! One two-seat and one one-man canoe for borrow

Cycling Bikes for borrow - if they're free visitors can use them. Old fashion type - no any gross-bikes!

Golf Vierumäki-Golf 20 km from stairs of house

Tennis Tennishalls by Pajulahti and Vierumäki Sport Centres - distance to both about 20 km; Vierumäki to north and Pajulahti to west from house.

Riding Riding a pony about 12 km

Skiing Gross- and skate-skiing on the village ways, on the ice of Lake Arra - and a good ski tracts by sport centres Vierumäki, Pajulahti, Nastola... and Lahti Salpausselkä too!

Slalom Most large slalom-hill of South Finland in Messila, distance 45 km from house

Snowmobile Snowmobile for rent - offers after orders. Driving on the Lake Arra and on the village-way - but no in the forestry!

Inva Possible to use wheel-chairs - every door is min. 90 cm wide

Pets "Four-foot" members of families are welcome to Kiviniemi

Smoking Possible outside of house - on the verandas etc.. but NO SMOKING INSIDE OF THE HOUSE!

Rowing and motor(s) for boat; One rowing boat included. A motor available or one bigger motorboat (max 5 persons) for rent.
